What to eat?
Rasa Rasa’s allows food lovers to search for local choice food outlets according to area, food type and category (pork free, halal and non-halal). The search function located below the header allows users to search for food outlets according to these filters within the Rasa Rasa’s eateries database “Cari Makan”.
Where to eat and how to get there?
Food outlets are categorized according to the states in Malaysia. Users can search for food outlets by area using the Search function located below the header. All Rasa Rasa food outlet profiles are accompanied with GPS coordinates and location maps (powered by Google Maps). Just tap on the place on Google map and follow the directions given via GPS.
What is the additional information available?
What are the food outlet’s specialties? When does it open and close? Does it serve halal food? How do I contact the outlet by phone or E-mail? Who are behind this business and how long have they been doing it? Go to “Cari Makan” on the Rasa Rasa site to find out more about the food outlets.
How good is it?
All registered members can rate the food outlet they have visited. Go to “rating” section on the outlet profile to rate the food outlet of your choice.
What is the background of the food I am going to eat? And what is it made of?
Rasa Rasa’s “Ingredients 101”, “Cooking In” and “Talking Food” sections provides information on topics such as locally available ingredients commonly used in Malaysian cooking, recipes of local delicacies and issues pertaining to local food culture and heritage. Many Rasa Rasa articles and food outlet profiles are also linked to third party websites to provide users with additional relevant information.

How do we add to the information?
Rasa Rasa food outlet profiles are updated periodically. Alternatively, you can write to info@rasarasa.net to inform us of any changes or updates to your outlet’s profile.
What other publicity can we get?
Banner advertisements can be placed next to each food outlet’s profile to enhance the publicity of each food outlet or to highlight current promotions. Please contact info@rasarasa.net for advertising fee, to place advertisements and sponsor Rasa Rasa related activities.
